Star Trek: Picard

So did anyone else get to catch the first episode of Star Trek: Picard? As a diehard Star Trek: The Next Generation fan, I was excited to watch this one, and I'm pleased that it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the heavy worldbuilding this show has going on, and I liked how different this episode was from the usual expected Trek fare, setting most of the action on Earth, and giving us a good glimpse into what life is like for everyone not on a starship. I also like how the TNG cast is getting, in my book at least, a much better continuation than what Nemesis gave us (which I hated). Overall, this first episode of a seemingly unorthodox Trek show has me excited for what's next.
