R.I.P. Sean Connery

The original James Bond just died, he was 90 years old. We'll miss all his suave charm and unique style. Don't forget he voiced the dragon Draco in Dragonheart as well. "To the stars Bowen, to the stars"

I did forget he played Draco. Thanks for the reminder.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Bond. Rest in Peace.

Then there's his oscar winning performance in the "Untouchables" where he gave this quote, "If he comes at you with a knife, bring a gun, if he sends one of your boys to the hospital, send him to the morgue, that's how you do it the Chicago way."

I love James Bond, and I love Sean Connery. Even though I love Bond, I think his best performances are in Hunt for the Red October and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Great career.

I'll always remember him for getting stuck in Zardoz in bandoliers, thigh-highs and a red diaper:

In all seriousness, this is a great excuse to finally start going through the Bond films - the only Connery Bond film I've seen is Goldfinger and I've only seen maybe four Bond films total.

Quite coincidental that Connery dies the same year as Honor Blackman (P**** Galore) only months apart.

I hope you enjoy them! I can get way too deep into Bond minutiae, so I'll only say this: I think Goldfinger ranks 4th of 6 in my Connery Bond movie rankings. I'd love to hear your thoughts after you watch a few!

Just found out Connery's favorite Bond movie was "From Russia with Love", though his favorite movie role, wasn't a Bond movie, but "The Man Who Would Be King", it's easy to see why, he was alongside Christopher Plummer and his good friend Michael Caine.

I'm a huge Sean Connery fan. My favorite Bond movie starring Connery is Thunderball. He was also great in The Rock.
