Dead Connection (Arcade)

Looking for a way to unleash your inner 1930's -40's gangster? Look no further than Dead Connection. This game will make you feel like your in a movie like that of Goodfellas, The Untouchables, and of course the Godfather all rolled into one! In fact two of the four characters (from the left to the right) resemble Andy Garcia (Philip), and Kevin Costner (James), you'll also spot one character resembling Marlon Brando. You get 8 stages of shooting mayhem, you;ll have a time limit to eliminate certain number of foes before it runs out including eliminating the boss an his two henchmen. You have two buttons, shoot and a dodge-roll. Should an enemy get too close to you shoot becomes a melee attack. You also get a wide variety of guns revolver, automatic, shotgun, and machinegun (tommy gun!)The last two unfortunately have limited uses however. Every stage is fun in its own right and you can cause all sorts of damage to tables, statues, stairs, cars, boxes, tires, etc. My favorite stage is the warehouse stage, as there's a mechanism where if you shoot the lever, a box will drop down and flames will ignite the area for a brief period though you can do this an infinite number of times, though be careful as you can get burned too. If there's some things to complain it's the short time to complete and at times it can be difficult to determine where you are with all the enemies. Other than that, this will be a game you'll want to play again and again. I played this with emulation.
