Time for another arcade review! This one's based off the great animated series from the 80's. The question is, how well does it hold up today? It plays like an overhead contra, shoot in any direction, plus powerups and one-hit deaths. You have basic projectile and capture beam, although you can do damage and capture ghosts with the capture beam. The ghosts, especially the bosses are imaginative, I'll say that. The problem is the game is quite short, and VERY repetitive. Hearing the ghostbusters theme is a bit scratchy and redundant. There's not a whole lot of strategy to it though, but I'll take this one over the dreadful one on the NES. Once you beat it there's no incentive to play it again.
