Spider-man/Venom: Separation Anxiety

Postby Zack Burner » January 22nd, 2020, 11:04 am

The sequel to Maximum Carnage came a year later after the former was released. So is it better or worse than the predecessor? For one thing the game features the same cool comic book style look and awesome soundtrack. Even better is the inclusion of two elements Maximum Carnage lacked: Co-op and password system. Unfortunately, the good news ends here. The gameplay is just the same as the predecessor, repetitiveness to the max, and while the previous had lots of superhero cameos, here it's reduced to only 5 Captain America, whoever you didn't choose, Daredevil, Hawkeye, and Ghostrider. Even the ending stinks, it's just a single screen saying Game Complete and then credits follows, there are no story cutscenes either. Lame! This all makes Maximum Carnage look like Mona Lisa!
