The Untouchables (SNES)

Postby Zack Burner » February 2nd, 2020, 8:36 am

Time for a review of a unique SNES game! Based off a 1987 movie starring Kevin Costner, Andy Garcia, Sean Connery (his only Oscar win), and Robert DeNiro as the villainous Al Capone, this game employs a variety of styles rather than just one. One level is overhead action, another is platform, and two are behind the shoulder shooters and at the end a first person shooting. The last two are my favorites though more the 2nd than the first as you play as Connery with a tommy gun at a dock! The other one you use a shotgun which can only fire 2 rounds at a time and you have to cover to reload. With all these styles combined plus your ability to choose your case (the first 4) replay value is exponentially increased. The final stage is a first person shooter where you have to take down Capone himself making him fall off the building. Can you do it? Play this rare game and find out!
