Yes, the famous computer game from days gone by had been ported to the SNES. There is some educational aspect about geography as you pursue Carmen and her henchmen. The game is fun for a bit, but once you finally capture Carmen you don't want to play it again. You'll need to pay attention to clues to figure out who the suspect is and where he/she went based off country facts such as flags, currency, and other things. Good effort, but nothing else.

That is correct, your rank increases as you catch criminals until you reach top rank that you an catch Carmen Sandiego.
