Chip's Challenge (NES unlreleased)

Postby Zack Burner » July 6th, 2020, 8:33 am

Yes, there was going to be an NES port of the famous Microsoft game (oh how I would spend hours trying to solve each level back in the day), but it never got released for some unknown reason. For the most part, it plays just like the original, just with different graphics making everything look a little weird. There's no sound, at least there wasn't in what I was playing. You also get a password system for each level as well, which is a good thing. Overall, I wish this came to as I feel young again playing it.

See this is the kind of review I don't like. You're assuming the reader is already familiar with the Microsoft version of the game. Why would they be? And even if they had played in a long time ago they probably forgot what it was all about.

One thing I like about my reviews is that I make no preconceived notions of my reader. Whenever it's a retrogaming expert or someone's grandma I think a review should clearly convey what the game is about.
