After a while, I'm back with another review! The sequel to the 1993 game, this one features a few old faces (Bad Mr. Frosty, Blob, and Tiny), plus some new faces such as Octo an octopus, Nanaman a Jamaican anthropomorphic banana, Hoppy a military rabbit, Googoo a big baby, and my personal favorite Kangoo a kangaroo. My favorites from the first game Taffy and Ickybod Clay were cut, but that's a minor loss. First order of business the graphics and animations are just like the previous, cool looking, but choppy, although one cool thing and probably the best part is the versus screen where the characters faces look great, plus have little tics such as GooGoo drooling, Kangoo licking her chops, and Bad Mr. Frosty smirking. The gameplay has improved, but only marginally, the controls are a bit tighter than the sluggish control of the first game. Like the first game, you only get your character's ending if you play on hard mode, though the twist here is, instead of one universal final boss, you each get an evil version of your character with different moves, I like that. A little better than the predecessor, but not perfect.

I need to update and add to my Clayfighter review collection. I've got a bunch of them now but never seem to get around to reviewing them.

I remember the original made a big, albeit short-lived splash in my old neighborhood. We couldn't get over the wacky graphics. I really need to play the later version to see how the series progressed.
