I remember playing Spider-Man 3 back in the day. I thought it was pretty awful too and would have given it a D- or an F. But an F- is the absolute worst of the worst and only makes your list a few times for each system. I don't think it is worth that a bad of rating. I mean Atari 2600 karate is a definite F-.

I rented Spider-Man 3 for my brand new Wii back in the day, and I guess I agree with the F minus. It was not any fun and I hated the waggle controls. I own Spider-Man 3 for the Xbox 360, and I quickly grew tired of that too, but it isn't as bad as the Wii version. I laugh out loud when I see an F minus review.
We rented Friend or Foe for a couple days and all the kids played it for about 3 hours and then were done with it. It was a little too simple for my tastes but it was a playable game. Good reviews, interesting choice of titles this past week or so, nice variety.

I remember Spidey 3 getting pretty popped in the review department. I was initially curious about the game (being a fan of the previous 2 games, and the PS1 titles) but was quickly dismayed by the reviews, labeling it as yet-another movie game cash-in and a noticeably worse title than the PS2 releases that preceded it.
There was a line from one online review, in particular, that was quite memorable. I thought it was from Game Revolution, but I couldn't locate the exact review when searching for it online just now. Regardless, It lambasted the textures and draw distance in the game, featuring an image of Spidey overlooking NYC, which appeared as a sea of flat-shaded "buildings." The caption was something along the lines of, "Which present should Spidey open first??"
This was the closest image I could find, but you get the point

Small criticism Dave, but you really need to know which screenshots you're putting up. You had Psychonauts with a screenshot of the PC version (quickly changed after it was brought up), you have Harry Potter on the Xbox with a screenshot of the GameCube version, and now you have Spiderman 3 on Wii with a screenshot of the PlayStation 2 version. I guess it isn't a huge deal, but the latter 2 examples literally have button prompts for another console in their screenshots.

Haha, I've never seen Dave hate a game as much as Spider-Man 3. "Like being held captive in your own personal little hell." Wow.

Reread his review of Reactor on the 2600 it is a real laugh. You will find another game he hates as much as SM3. Though he hated China syndrome as well. The movie was quite good.
