There was also an unreleased arcade sequel called "Faster, Harder, More Challenging Q*bert" (really!).

The programmer released the ROM a while ago. You can see it here:

I really love the look of Q*bert 3. It looks so good. It is a shame to hear it is just average. I remember the first time I played it and the guy fell off the edge I was like and was like in pain. He had just died. Utterly superb. I have the 2600 version which is totally awesome. I used to also have the coleco version which was totally awesome also.
On the strength of your review I will not be seeking out this game.

Legend was rereleased in 2017, alongside Iron Commando.

I like Legend despite its flaws, it was created by only two people and technically was great, showing up to four rivals on screen without slowdown, not very common on SNES.
