Here's a fresh new 3DO Review for your reading enjoyment. Man, I've been waiting to review this one for decades!
Glad it didn't let me down.

Oooh, I love 3DO reviews.
Typo: "...which where..." - remove the "which" before the where.
It took me a couple of tries to figure out what you're trying to say.
Sounds like a fun, little game.

Anytime there's a new 3DO review it's a good day! I've wanted to fire Captain Quazar up for a long time but, like you, simply haven't gotten around to it (other than a couple minutes of playtesting at some point). I like isometric shooters so this is a good excuse to bust it out.
By the way, I'm surprised that Mazer hasn't crossed your radar. It's another isometric shooter that's exclusive to the 3DO and it's got some of that fun, early-1990s Pit Fighter / Mortal Kombat digitized-sprite trashiness about it.
I remember Mazer as being pretty fun for what it was, a bit like Smash TV crossed with Pit Fighter and a dash of Zombies Ate My Neighbors, as if acted out by the actors in Virtuoso and Way of the Warrior and Shadow: War of Succession.

I wonder if Captain Quazar was the inspiration for Captain Quark in the Ratchet & Clank series...

I fixed the typos and put Mazer on my wanted list. Why haven't I pursued it in the past? Probably because its name was so boring!

I swore this was a re-review when I first read it.. I guess not. Either way, it’s good to see it get a review and good to hear it’s a solid game. I’ve never played it, but it’s always looked like when of the better 3DO games. Especially for pick-up-and-play retro gaming.
