Tekken 8 looks good. I remember back in the day, people would be queuing up around the block to get this. Go forward 20 years and you do not get the same enthusiasm. This makes the game the king of fighters, which is of course the SNK game. My pal, who I used to play them with, has stopped. So I no longer play them.

Raiden Nova. It looks bad. Your review seems to suggest that it is an ill thought out update. I have been playing Raiden since it first came out in the 90s. I looked at it and just thought, no. Furthermore, I had never heard of it. So I looked on Steam as it is not on Xbox 1 Series X. I mean, for once Xbox dodged a bullet. I think you are being too kind to the game, it looks awful.

Next up the Konami collection. A whole new Salamander 3? I am tempted. Though I hope they cure the slowdown on lifeforce as it is a joke to leave it in there.

A long play of Raiden Nova. If you watch it for about 7 minutes, you see all the problems that the critic was talking about. It is hard to see the opposing force's bullet fire sometimes, and in a bullet hell game, that is a major problem. Also the amount of enemies steadily increase, so it starts off manageable then gets way out of hand very quickly. Plus you see the enemies become bullet sponges.

It would be good if it could be in stages with breaks between the ways, As in 1943, where you get an idea of what is coming up, and what you need to destroy. So you can go back to, enjoy to destroy.

As a long time fan of the Raiden series, I thought Nova was an interesting direction for the franchise. Unfortunately, it just seems half-baked from your review. I do hope they try this style again, while avoiding the mistakes and annoying aspects that plague this particular title.
