Critic, since this is football and it's currently football season, are you still going to play this game no matter how mediocre it is?

Atarifever - It sounds like the Wii version has a lot going for it (like the franchise mode) but the step down in graphics might be a little hard to swallow.
Blueguy - Yes, I'm sure I will play the hell out of this thing because I'm a huge football fan and my friends are too. And yes, we'll be complaining about it (and cursing EA) half the time.

Well... if you get bored of this one, at least there is also NFL Blitz on XBLA to consider. I heard it was pretty good

I'm glad you gave this game a real review. I tried the demo and it was ridiculously poor, except for the improvements to the passing game. However, the physics were terrible and the players haven't moved that unrealistically for years.
D+ was a good call.

Can I just say that you, sir, have the greatest online name I have ever seen. Unless you're, like, in some kind of seal club. It's like Club Penguin or something. Then not so great name. But if it is a directive, again, fantastic stuff.
