Ah cool beans, was nice to stumble upon these tonight. Enjoyed the reviews. Zombi U didn't get the greatest of reviews from critics so nice to see someone enjoyed the game. As for New Super Mario Bros, it's nice to see Nintendo finally having Mario star in a Nintendo launch title (step aside Luigi and Link).

Great reviews, but I still think that you should consider adding a new 2010 section for the Wii U. Doesn't exactly fit in the 2000's section if you ask me.

The nintendo loving critic speaks. It seems like you have given these titles some interesting marks. I would like to play the Supermario game but will be waiting for the inevitable price crash before seeing if I want one of these.
The in game is pants well there is a shocker. I remember when pacman came free with the VCS. I was so blown away it was great and a lot better than combat. Later I found out that everyone else hated it but I loved it.
The in pack game with the Jaguar (Jagwar) Cyber morph... superb... I loved it. Everyone else hated it. CBS colecovision... Donkey Kong (when nintendo were king) fantastic game.
OOoo I ajm getting off the topic.
For me the jury is still out on this bit of kit but I would love to get another nintendo but will have to wait to see what the other players are going to do in June...
Though I will look to see what the critic thinks of other nintendo wii u titles ....

Just read the WiiU reviews. All were good, but I think there's one small error in the New Super Mario Bros. U review:
... (aka "girlfriend mode"), which lets they help or hinder other players...
Shouldn't it use "them" instead of "they" ?

Just noticed a slight mistake. When accessing the Wii U reviews, the title says "The Video Game Critic's Wii Reviews", like for the "regular" Wii reviews. It should say: "The Video Game Critic's Wii U Reviews"

Welp, looks like a few of the Wii U's launch titles get quick reviews! Very nice.
It's nice that there's a Mario at launch ... I don't think that happened since ... 1996 with the N64?? Yikes. I'm surprised that it wasn't a pack-in game. Nintendoland seems like a OK way to demonstrate the Tablet Controller's functionality, but it won't make anyone buy the system. Wii Sports sold the Wii to nursing homes. Nintendoland sells the Wii U to ... well ... "Hey, throw that disc in there, and call it the Deluxe Set."

You're correct, this is the first Mario launch title since Super Mario 64.
