Here's an interesting new two-in-one homebrew that classic gamers should find appealing.

Hi. Here´s it. The scan on High Water Patrol will register your advance on the game, also you can map the position of the subs.

I included a new screenshot for High Water Patrol, which looks much better I think.

Cool.  Over in Europe this was know at the Philips Video pac.  It did not sell well.  Though looking at your review I decided to see if one was worth having and would you believe it that are about £100 second hand?

Yikes.  They did not sell well in the States either, but they are no where near that price. While some ebay sellers put 'rare' on it,  its usually only about the same price range as a common Atari 2600.   The original Odyssey units from 1972ish can go for hundreds depending on what comes with them, but not the pong era Odysseys XXXXs or the ROM cart Odyssey 2.  Generally you can get an Odyssey 2 unit and a bunch of loose carts for $35.  I see one, in PAL, that did not sell for $25 in Georgia on Ebay US.  Over the Pond shipping might not be worth it though.

I grew up with one, and so I'm nostalgic, but its not a system that would satisfy most.  The machine was relatively capable compared to the 2600, but the games generally lack the polish, and 3rd parties like Imagic hardly bothered, and the keyboard was not used much.  I have a nice copy of Quest for the Rings and some other goodies, but not a multicart to play Amok and other modern homebrews.  That might make a difference.

I checked the listings again and the consoles are coming from America.  Both are untested and probably do not work.  Think I am just going to have to look at you tube when the critic talks about these games and they system.
Oh then I thought why not search for the system under the British name.  Yep it is about £30.

Here (Brazil), if you live near to a fleamarket you can find it by nice prices. That´s not my case, on bidding sites, the prices is around U$50,00 unboxed.

Does that mean a consideration for a holiday purchase? Carts are usually inexpensive, especially in lots of loose ones. Do not hope for boxes though as they are pretty flimsy. Good hunting.

I didn't know anyone who owned an O2 "back in the day", although I do remember seeing them for sale in department stores.

According to wikipedia (not exactly infallible, I know) the 2600 sold about 30 million consoles, the Intellivision a distant second at 3 million, and the O2 at 2 million sold about the same number of units as Colecovision.
