Here are some new Playstation One titles for you to chew on. Novastorm is kind of disappointing, but Rival Schools is an eye-opener.

I liked your reviews although I wonder which game you find superior? Rival Schools for (PS1) or Project Justice (Dreamcast)? According to your DC review, Project Justice is the DC version of Rival Schools although I did some checking around and it seems to be its sequel. If that is the case you might want to update your DC review since it seems a bit misleading.

I definitely need to go back and re-review Project Justice. To be honest, I don't even remember it.

Indeed, Rival Schools is a great game. Though I'm not sure I personally agree with the comment about '2d' fighters being more responsive in general than '3d' ones. But maybe that's because I'm personally skewed toward 3d fighters.
To explain the above, I personally use '2d fighter' and '3d fighter' to refer to the gameplay, rather than the graphics; to me Toshinden is a '3d fighter', while Tekken is a '2d fighter'.
Project Justice is indeed a sequel; In Europe it was titled 'Project Justice; Rival Schools 2'.
