I only read the Mobile Suit Gundam review. It was really good, except for one line.
"Most gamers know Mobile Suit Gundam from the Playstation 2 series of mech shooters."
That, or because Gundam is a legendary anime franchise.

Shoulda saved the Mobile Suit Gundam review for April 1st. I would have thought it was up there with Bioshock 2600 review.
And I agree with Logan about Gundam being well known from the source material rather than a video game. Its like a review of an older Godzilla game and saying most gamers know Godzilla from the Gamecube's Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters instead of the Toho film series.

Yeah, I actually agree with that. It isn't much of a stretch to say a lot of video game players also watch anime (or at least a decent chunk of them) and even if they haven't they have probably heard of Gundam. Gundam probably has like 20-30 different anime series over the last 20-30 years.

I honestly thought this was an April Fool's prank. I actually looked it up after reading the review, just to make sure ol' Dave wasn't pulling a fast one on us. Sure enough, it comes up in Wikipedia, under the Bandai Arcadia header. Color me surprised!

They're right, Dave. Gundam is one of the main anime franchise, and the PS2 games are just the tip of the iceberg..

I know next to nothing about the Arcadia, but this is why I love this site for reviews on pre-NES generation gaming.

Never heard or seen Gundam, Infact I never seen that word in my entire life, 'til now...!

Well, I never said that ALL gamers know about the anime. I'm simply saying that the anime is far more recognizable than any of the games.

Thanks for the feedback. I will modify the review to better reflect the anime series.
