Here are some new Playstation 1 reviews for your reading pleasure.
1Xtreme and 2Xtreme are updates, 3Xtreme is new.
1Xtreme has the same grade (B+) but 2Xtreme dropped from D+ to F.

I still think 2Xtreme is a solid C-, no further comment. It isn't that terrible IMO.

There is something wrong with the years. You have 1Xtreme as 1998 and 2Xtreme as 1997. Shouldn't they be the other way around?

I got 2Xtreme as a part of a PS1 lot a while back ... but haven't played it yet.
Doesn't sound like I'm missing much?

So... 1Xtreme was originally released in 1995 under the name ESPN Extreme Games. Later Sony dropped the license and released it under the Xtreme moniker. This explains the discrepancy in release years.
Hardcore - you are not along in your belief. I reviewed this with my friend Brent who insisted this was a C game, but he could not sway me. Could be a case of my personal biases. All I know is, whenever I play the game I feel miserable.

Nice updates. 1Xtreme was one of the first reviews I saw on your site and have been reading ever since. Nice to see the third game finally getting a review. I keep trying to find 1Xtreme at a vintage game shop but I never can seem to find it. It's not something that I actually ever seek out to buy (otherwise I'd get it online) but eventually when I see a copy I'll be sure to pick it up.

I like 2Xtreme. It's fun to do the season and it was challenging playing it on the harder levels. I really liked the snow level for instance, and don't have any gripes about the levels. The graphics are a little bland though, and prevent it from being a great game. I'd understand if it got a D grade. An F is too low. But more convincing arguments could be made for say, a game like F-Zero getting a better score.

I've enjoyed playing 2Xtreme with my other half, so I was surprised to see the original D+, let alone an F. But if you hate the game, you hate the game.
As a side note, I was pleased to see that Xtreme Sports on Dreamcast is slated for review; that's another one I've had fun with. Also, the upcoming review sidebar still lists 3Xtreme.

There is a coding error on the top area of PS page that features these games - near the social networking icons. There is a comment code "-->" that is showing.

Should the critic's reviews contain a list of alternate titles for games that had multiple names?
It would perhaps go great with the new search feature.
