Here is a set of re-reviews I've been working on for some time.  Grades have changed a bit:
Robo Aleste A -> B+
Silpheed B+ -> C+
Sonic CD C+ -> B-

Agree or disagree?

I have to say I think your new Sonic CD review reads a lot better then the old one.

Robo Aleste is from Compile, so I'd expect some quality behind it. It looks a bit like MUSHA.

Sonic CD is easily my favorite in the series. I've been playing the enhanced Android port on my tablet, and it's pixel perfect with the option to choose the American or Japanese soundtrack. I loved the Special Stages.

The sentence about the contraptions for facilitating time travel in your review of Sonic CD could have been typed without any references to blue buttocks at all (I suggest beginning it this way: Facilitating time travel are contraptions that propel Sonic all over the place).

I'm really surprised that you dropped Robo Aleste, it is one of the best games on the system, easily top 5 (not that hard to win that award though).

I hate to ask but how much longer until you post your next set of PC Engine/Turbografx reviews? They have been on the Coming Attractions section forever... Would like to see what you thought of Spriggan since it is so similar to MUSHA and Robo Aleste.

I think sonic CD is very boring, IMO. I'd have given it a D+. But hey, you can have your views too.

Hmm I agree with your original score for Silpheed I think this games gets breathtaking especially on later levels and definitely has that 'wow' factor with the asteroids and the hexagonal landscape.
Personally I rate it as a B+ as your original review.

I'd rate Sonic CD C+ instead of B-. I'm a huge fan of the Sega Genesis Sonic games, but Sonic CD is my least favorite. I find the levels just too confusing, I don't like the time travel aspect and some levels have a bit too many frustrating parts in them. I also find it impossible to successfully complete a bonus level. Not really bad, but in comparison with Sonic 1/2/3/Knuckles it pales.

MUSHA and Robo Aleste are two of the seven titles in the Aleste series.

I was able to complete all of the bonus stages in the version of Sonic CD that was released for personal computers in the United States in the year 1996.
