I've been wanting to redo my Ridge Racer reviews for some time, especially since these two were dated July 1999!  Also, I felt that ESPN Extreme Games deserved its own review apart from 1Xtreme.

Ridge Racer Revolution was a sort-of port of the arcade Ridge Racer 2. No 2 player really sucked.

I was going back and forth between B+ and A-.  Might still change it.

ESPN Extreme Games is one of the very few PS1 titles that has stood the test of time. They didn't try to go for a home run with the graphics, and so many PS1 titles look so unbelievable, hideously ugly, this not so much. 

I have yet to ever find 1Xtreme in a game shop (for some reason I never want to buy it online). I always end up looking to see if I can find it because I know you have always had high praise for the game, now I'm kind of glad I waited because I'd rather buy this version. The long boxes are a pain in the wazoo though. Still, I really enjoyed these reviews. I didn't even know about the swap trick for RR so that's really neat. Thanks man.

Something I've been wondering: around the net, I see copies of a so called 'ESPN2: Extreme Games'. Is this 2Xtreme or 1Xtreme?

Ok, I think the full title of 1Xtreme's original release is 'ESPN ESPN2 Extreme Games'.

Which is confusing.
