It's sad and annoying to see everyone just giving poplar games high scores because it's the easy option.
Or maybe it's because Smash 4 has a lot of content and polish. Anything below an A- just feels wrong for this game. There are negative comments in his review about not being able to see the default controls without saving a control profile but the controls are in the instruction booklet. It seems like he always mentions instruction booklets in his recent reviews but when a detailed one comes out that actually has information he needed there's no mention at all. If he doesn't like the game fine but I get the impression the review was rushed just to get it on the site. I mean come on, Knack has a higher score...
My main complain with Smash are the controller options. There's too many and I have no idea which one is the best. Is hooking up an old gamecube controller the best? Probably but have fun actually finding the adapter. Is the Hori fightpad the best? Maybe but you can't find that anywhere either. Not to mention there's no rumble feature and it has to plug into a Wii remote.
