One slight issue: "...when you see Daffy Duck in a Turbografx game..." Daffy isn't a Disney character. If I recall correctly, Darkwing Duck is a character created specifically for the show of the same name.

The Bravoman game sounds like fun.  Out of curiosity, have you read the comic or seen the YouTube cartoon based on it?
And... nothing else to do except wait and see how many people get pissed because you called Darkwing Duck Daffy [wink]

In Bravoman, "the villain introduces each stage while vigorously jerking his scepter?" How did that get past the ESRB?

My mistake. The ESRP didn't exist until 1994. I guess they could away with that in 1990.

If you want a Darkwing Duck game, stick with the NES game. It's more or less Megaman Jr., but if you like Megaman, you might like it.

Yeah, the Darkwing Duck NES title is surprisingly good. I love the cape and the stage layouts are pretty fun. It really does feel like a MM game although since Capcom made it, that isn't too surprising. I think you hit all the main points for the turbografx version. It is terrible. I've never played Bravoman but that is mostly because the main character looks really annoying. From what I've seen about the game, it looks painfully average. Still, I might give it a shot if I ever see a cheap copy laying around (unlikely but who knows). I always enjoy the Turbografx reviews. Keep 'em up!

I really like the NES darkwing duck. I'd say it's a solid B. Too bad the TurboGrafx one stinks. The screenshots look nice at least

The Insanity review is missing the CD icon.
