God Hand (PS2/Playstation Network): Weird, stupid/brilliant 3d beat-em-up from Clover Studios
(makers of Okami and the Viewtiful Joe series) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil creator). Over
one hundred moves! Surf rock soundtrack! Immature humor! Tough as nails, but addictive.
Punching demons and gorillas in the face never felt so good!
($9.99 on the Playstation Network)

Fantasy Zone - The Maze (SMS)
Odd Pac-Man / Fantasy Zone mashup.
I also second Bushido Blade 1/2.

Landstalker (Sega Genesis/Nintendo Virtual Console): Action-adventure game in the Zelda/Crystalis mold,
except on a 2.5D plane (instead of the usual overhead view). The artwork looks a little generic to
me, but the game has some great, lengthy dungeons and some fun puzzles, along with a surprisingly
involving story. The sequel (Ladystalker for the SNES) was never released in the US, but a spiritual successor
called Dark Savior was released here on the Sega Saturn.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade for Wii
The critic would absolutely love this game. It reminds me of Popful Mail with a lot more hack N slash. This game has the best graphics I have ever seen on Wii and could argue there better then most games on the PS3 or 360. Terrific game play and it oozes style.
CRITIC don't miss out play this game!
It can be had off ebay for about $15 atm.

I personally would love just to see the VGC finish off one of the system libraries he's close to completing. Off the top of my head, Intellivision and 32X are close to completion, and Game.com seems well on its way.

In addition to the final 3 32x games, I would love to see the final original 7800 games completed as well. As if he doesn't have enough on his plate

I'd love to see the VGC get his hands on Zero 5 and Battlesphere for the Jaguar.

I know that the Critic loved Vampire Chronicle for Matching Service for the Dreamcast. So he'll likely love Vampire Savior for the Sega Saturn. It's another import that uses the 4MB RAM cart, and man - it's a doozy. Amazing game, and amazing port.
