Well the legend is confirmed finally.  I think the Critic should re-review the game, but also review the bug-fixed version that was made to see if the letter grade improves any --

What do you say?

And for the heck of it...throw in the 800/XL/XE version of E.T. for review.

ET 2600 found in New Mexico desert! Time to re-review the game!

The problem is, my current ET review is pretty recent, having been updated just last year.  Is the review lacking in any way?  Or do you just want me to update it to include the news about the New Mexico landfill?

Perhaps add another review of the hacked version of ET, to see how much better the rating is (if it changes at all).  The hacked (improved) version addresses many issues people had with the game.

I would vote for you to include recent news about the new mexico discovery in the official review of the official game (for fun).

I read your reviews a lot.  They have been very useful in me deciding what dreamcast games to try out recently! [smile]

I agree -- a review of the "fixed' ET would be OUTSTANDING!!!

The thing I have read is they found thousands of them, thousands not millions.

http://atariage.com/forums/topic/207249-fixing-et-the-extra-terrestrial/

This was posted January 5th, 2013.  That is a reasonable date to use for when the fix was made.

The "Final" edited version was done for it on February 17, 2013.

The atariage member's name is:  Recompile

Hope this helps [smile]

It appears from Recompile's posts that he visted the site of the ET search.  Just fun to know.
