Mortal Kombat X is the first great game of this generation? You've already reviewed several Wii U games whose grades would indicate otherwise. Also, one killer game for PS4 would be Resogun, even though it's a downloadable-only title. Basically, it's a cross between Defender and twin-stick shooters and it's awesome.

I think he meant first great game that he's reviewed for the PS4 and Xbox One. I don't even know if the VGC considers Wii U in the same "next gen" category, even though it technically is.

Wow too snoreful reviews of two games I am not remotely interested in. Though it is good to read Mortal Kombat is good fun.

With all the complaints you made about microtransactions in Forza Motorsport 5 and Killer Instinct, I'm surprised you didn't dock MKX a letter grade for its microtransaction system.

I think the idea of making easier fatalities is an acceptable option for DLC. I don't like DLC in general, but at least it's not characters. Oh wait there are making Goro as DLC; that I don't care for.
