Good review... Interesting looking game... The screenshot looks terrible... You are right the game looks like it was made in MIcrosoft Paint... That is pretty sad when indie game developers have actually used Paint to good success with some other games (look at the fan made Mother 4 screenshots to see what that looks like, that was completely made through MS Paint). The Jaguar can't seem to catch a break.

It does seem like something always goes wrong with Jaguar games. I guess it's the story of the system, I can't exactly argue with the label. I compare to if the PS3 got discontinued after it's first year or two. It would've been looked at as a disaster. But then they had big money to keep shoving at it and eventually the developers got a handle on it. Still, I feel like there were some great moments, not just the couple games everyone always lists. I love the dark atmosphere games like I-War have, it's a genre that doesn't exist anymore.

I wouldn't hold the Jaguar responsible. The initial idea behind Frog Feast is that it would be ported to most CD based consoles.
It's practically identical across Sega CD, Neo Geo CD, FM Towns CD, Philips CD-I, Amiga CD32 (you get the idea).
It was kept super simple so it could be ported to everything.

It makes it an accessible game, not a good one but if you've got a retro console you can basically get this game.
