Shawn the DS games you listed are sequels, not ports. I think the critic was saying the PSP has a lot of ports. The DS also has a lot of original games Shawn, but you write them all of as crappy mini-games. We know you don't like the DS. Now shut up about it.
Mozart you don't know what you are talking about. Gamespot is a joke
IGN is an IGNorant mess.  It's hardly possible to navigate the @#$% site.  In fact, I *can't* even load it from most machines at work.

Thus, I can say this without overly complementing Gamespot -- Gamespot is far better.  It's at *least* accessible everywhere I've tried.
My prediction is simple; in 2007 the PSP will outsell the DS in North America. Cheers!
Ah yes.  I've heard that prediction for each passing year.  I wouldn't be disappointed if it turned out to be true.  It would mean that suddenly the PSP had more than a few games worth playing.  But given these passing years where the prediction didn't turn out to be true, you'll have to forgive my skepticism.

Heck, Shawn. I would be happy with that prediction, too. I currently think the DS far surpasses the PSP in terms of its library, but maybe if that happened the PSP would start to get some more games. It's not as though the DS would die if that happened; it still would have all of Japan. Along with the PSP's predicted price cut that might make me want to buy another PSP.

It's pointless to discuss since nobody on this site owns a PSP other then a few people.

Huh?

Exactly.  You are so right that Shawn has nothing to say.  I just got done playing New Super Mario Bros., and that game is anything but a rehash or a port.  Tons of originality, and gameplay innovation added to an already proven formula.  That is pure gaming enjoyment.

First off, I'm not sure New SMB and TETRIS DS are re-hashes. Those games are SEQUALS, NEW versions of classics. To me a rehash is more like "Tetris DELUXE" , same old game with color and a few bells n' whistles added. The PSP is a fine system, but The DS is not going anywhere. Yes, it is mostly puzzlers, sequals, mini games-but it is a PORTABLE and people LIKE this on portables. I prefer playing "Mario vs. DK" on my DS; I don't think I'd want to see TOCA3 or DT RACER squeezed down to it - I'll wait till I have time to play my PS2, thanks! The DS is Nintendo, it is popular with all ages, and where I live 8 people I know own a DS (including my ex), only ONE owns PSP. That will go up to 2 (I'll buy one) if more 2-D games come out for it and the price comes down a bit, though!

Oh ya! Those games were "sequels"? Please, this is a joke. Just go back to playing  your mini-game device. Enjoy!

Are you people kidding me? What is so INNOVATIVE about the New Super Marios Brothers game? Oh, you eat a mushroom and he gets big or small! Wow! I am not saying it isn't a great game b/c it is but c'mon, it is basically the same game we have all been playing since Mario 3. It is impossible to have a battle of wits with unarmed people.

Yes shawn they are indeed sequels since no exsisting version came before them they are not ports.  And the DS has plenty of non mini games titles.  On a final not I found NSMB overblown, but it is not a port to be sure.

After quotes like this, it may be a good idea to lay low for a while.  You're talking too much.
