Check out this latest Turbografx/PC-Engine titles. Note Japanese games do not run natively on American systems!

At least your Ferrari is powered once again by an internal combustion engine in this version. On the Genesis, it's apparently an electric judging by the lack of any noise coming from under the hood.

While both are fine games, I prefer this version at the end of the day. The comparison shouldn't be anywhere even close between these two versions of Outrun, yet it's a surprisingly tight race between these two platforms since Sega really didn't invest the effort into the Genesis version that it deserved.

Nice reviews! I own both Download games as well and found the first one a better overall experience as well. The second half of the second game isn't that great but they're still fun games.

I know what you meant but I figured I'd clarify. Download 2 will actually play on U.S. Turbografx consoles as long as you have a Duo or a CD attachment with the right system card. Outrun will not without an adapter since it is a HU card.

Thanks for the feedback.

Sometimes I'm afraid people will click on my ebay link and buy Outrun, not realizing it won't work on their US system. But sometimes I forget what the rules are.

Sometimes I wonder if I need to make a separate PC Engine section.

The Turbografx section could possibly be divided into cd and hu card sections as that would pretty much clear up any confusion. They are almost like two different consoles anyway (minus the consoles being able to play both).
