I'm surprised that you liked it so much. More than once while playing it I thought about how your review would turn out. I'd of bet money that certain elements here like breakable weapons would've gotten your goat. Will you still be reviewing the Wii U version (I could've swore I remember you posting about buying that one)?
Great game, but I hope we get some large traditional dungeons next time with a real storyline to go along with them, instead of how the backstory was relayed here. The large world to explore that was populated by hundreds of side-quests was perfect and is my favorite part of Zelda games rather than the dungeons, but it still felt like the main quest was neglected during development.

Wow. Not just an A+ but a review you can read in the dark its so glowing. I am very surprised, but Zelda looks like your game of the year based on your enthusiasm.
Glad you had such an amazing gaming experience.

To my knowledge, the Wii U version is completely identical in terms of content and the Switch version looks and runs slightly better, and considering how utterly massive a game it is, it doesn't seem like there'd be much of a point to effectively review it twice.

Entirely valid point, but also partly why I was somewhat curious if he'd give that any attention.
It's a moot point though, since I quickly searched to see if I was even remembering what he said correctly, and saw this post.

I think Wii U Zelda would be docked final score because the game pad screen does nothing except taunt you.

Can everyone remember that the critic is not a huge fan of rpgs. As such although he is going to love this zelda game (yes I want it) he is not going to love it any where near as much as some of us who have froth coming out of our mouths (in excitement not rabies) at the thought of an open world zelda. There are at the current time two games I want on this system.. possibly 3. Zelda, Skyrim and Mario cart.. plus luigis mansion if one gets released plus wario ware.. and maybe nintendo dogs..i digress..
Zelda.. and skyrim.. well I had to wait 6 years to get a ps3.. now I wonder how long it will be4 I can get my hands on one of these babies... ?
Also none of my friends have got one.. hmmm

I would've changed the last line of the Zelda review to say it's a title that'll make you want to take your Switch to work every day to play it on breaks and lunch.

Yeah i would actually dock it from an A+ to an A- because of that. I ended up playing almost all of the game on the game pad because when you play on the tv the game pad constantly blinks at you. It's extremely distracting and annoying and I can't believe they got it through qa like that

Wouldnt I lose my DLC on the other profile?
