The GS in Astro Fighter stood for Gremlin/Sega. They were the publishers of the game.

Very nice reviews! I picked up Astro Fighter a while ago. I wasn't as impressed with it as I was with Astro Blaster. I should probably give it another try.

An incredible game that was state of the art when it came out. Jaw dropping graphics and incredible use of colour, yep I am talking about astro fighter. It may not look like much today but back in the day it was a top notch shooter up there with moon cresta.
Good to see this out on the 7800 and thanks for the review.
I agree with the review for Asteroids. It was a the best version of the game to come out on any console. It was so good it was on a par with space duel. I noticed they did not put in any of the deluxe extra events like the space ships which kill you at the end of each level. Which made it a fantastic game.
