More 32X action! This one surprised me.

I can see we were given the raw end of the stick over here in the UK. You keep posting details of games which would have got me to get a 32x but they were never released in the UK. It really looks good. Great review.

Neat surprise to see this review pop up! I own this game but have never gotten around to playing it properly, though I did put a lot of time into RBI 3 and 4. I'll have to move it up the list.

Only one unreviewed North American 32X game left to review!...and it's Supreme Warrior. Sorry, Critic.

BTW, of the two PAL-only games, Darxide is interesting if you ever feel like trying it on a flash cart, though it's very cryptic. Nice graphics, pretty close to early PlayStation-level, though the framerate sometimes gets very poor. Don't know much about the FIFA game, though I doubt it's any great shakes.

This review is making me interested to try this one out. Despite being a fan of sports games, I don't think I ever played a 16-bit era baseball game... I played a bunch on the NES and then didn't play another until the N64. This one looks really good, at least from the screenshot you posted. For someone just looking to try one, is there a consensus best baseball game from the SNES/Genesis era? World Series Baseball, Sportstalk Baseball, and the Ken Griffey games all rank high in the VGC reviews, and now this RBI Baseball '95 looks good too.

I also have this Batter Up controller for the Genesis, which I've never tried:

I can't speak to the SNES very well, other than the Ken Griffey games were fun the few times I played them.

So many great choices for the Genesis. I think the World Series Baseball games are widely viewed as classics for the Genesis. My personal choice is 96, but all are good. I really love La Russa 95, as well, but that is lesser known. The Triple Play games are strong, as well as the Hardball series, 94 & 95.

I have this game for the 32X, but have yet to try it. Going to have to break it out!

Ha, it definitely does! If I remember correctly, I think it even uses sensors to allow motion controls (i.e., by swinging the bat to swing in the game). I'm sure it works far worse than using the regular controller...though I haven't ever been in a hurry to find out. But still, I like the look of it in my gameroom because everything about it screams '90s! It's one of the few peripherals that I have out, rather than stuffed in a closet.
