How is an average game (C+) a hidden gem?

You referred to Montezuma's Revenge for Colecovision. You should check out the SMS port sometime.

Have you ever played Sqoon? It's a submarine shooter for the NES, by the same developer as In the Hunt. The graphics are embarrassingly primitive for 1987, but it plays very solidly, and I love that goofy title.

C+ on the Master System at that. Is this the type of game that would net a D or D- on the SNES? Maybe the score is a bit too low...

Typo alert on Submarine Attack. "Even" in the first sentence should be "ever". Subtle difference, but changes the intended meaning.

There's also "ancient history" in reference to Cortez in the Aztec Adventure review. The European discovery of the Americas was the beginning of modern history and happened a full millennium after the Roman Empire's fall ended ancient history. Better to just call it "history" and leave it at that.

Thanks for the recommendation! I want this!
Sadly, it may need to wait until next summer, and I'm gearing up for Fall!

I'd try to get it now if I were you. There are a couple of listings under $100 on eBay right now, and that doesn't appear to be too common, going by the rest of them. The three complete box-and-manual copies are priced at $700, $750, and $800!
