Space Invaders looks awesome. It is up there with Strip poker 2 as the games I want to play on the VB.

It's interesting that Space Invaders uses the original arcade sprites instead of updating them with the rest of the graphics. You don't really see that specific kind of retro look taking off until the indie scene hits its stride a decade later.

I finally got an opportunity to play a Virtual Boy on a recent trip to Japan.
I was pretty impressed! The red and black color palette is plain, sure, but the sharp lines and animation are impressive for their time. The Mario Tennis game was pretty fun, although I'm not sure if it stands up to the original overall due to the lack of multiplayer.
