Critic, are you aware of the PS Vita version of Night Trap or no?

I was not aware of the Vita version. Any reason why I should consider reviewing that one?

It because he has owned/reviewd every version and port of Night Trap, that why.

It was a limited run release that now sold out. So your best bet is either downloading which you do not do, or dealing with eBay/online scalpers unfortunately.

I don't think thee is any difference between the Night Trap you just reviewed and the PS Vita one (from a game play perspective). There probably are some differences graphics wise but that is about it. All the Night Trap versions being put up for sale on Limited Runs are the 25th Anniversary Edition which is based off that downloadable release.

Interesting review for a really dated style of game. I remember when FMV was the next big thing in video games. The first time I saw it in a game was the wonderfully dodgy Sega Shooter Astron Belt. It has a special place in my heart as it was so state of the art at the time and now state of the ark.
A great review to be sure that gives all the good points of a 30 year old game. For me it is a lot like Dragons lair. The first time I played it I was like wow. I died in 2 minutes. Then it was released for everything. I eventually beat the version on my dvd player. I beat Nightshift on X box1 the other month. Good fun but once you had played it 2 times that was enough. NT looks the same. Good nostalgia fun but can it compete with Red Dead Redemption 2? No chance and that monster selling game is not out on the Switch.

Though what this does point to is that the really good games on the Switch have dried up. A great machine but it has its launch titles and not much else. A bit like the previous Nintendo. I am sure it will still be selling well. As it has minecraft on it, Fifa and Fortnite. Or that was what I saw in the Christmas promotion video on tv the other day. I was like I have two of them and I hate the other... yep. Sports snore.

Boo Nintendo need to pull their fingers out and get out some more wacky cute games that will make me wanna play em on the system. Plus remember Troll and I is out on the switch. Dreadful game.
