2018/12/12: Xbox One: Red Dead Redemption II

Here's my long-awaited review of Red Dead Redemption II. Comments welcome

Red Dead is for sure one of my favorite games. My issues with it echo your sentiments (too much micromanagement going on in there and item selection is very fiddly). I will add in two more complaints. First, I kept losing my hat and often my horse was miles away. Second, I really wish they made it easier to track your "open" activities/quests. These are minor niggles and I prefer Red Dead to GTA by a mile, probably Rockstar's best game.

No, I think they got past the uncanny valley with this one. The characters look amazing.

Red Dead (and GTA) aren't series that massively appeal to me, so I'd probably give it an F.

Games that don't "massively" appeal to you get an F? That's pretty extreme.
