Just in time as in the modern gaming section of the site we where talking about Smash with Ultimate vs Wii U.: https://videogamecritic.com/forums/view ... 97&t=17528
Glad to see Ultimate get a better grade then Wii U as it does show being next gen only does make a difference in quality critic.

Surprise review - didn't know you had this game. I haven't owned a Smash Bros. game since the Gamecube, but it sounds like it's time for a new one once I finally get a Switch.

The last sentence was one of the strongest I've seen in a videogame review.

I picked this game up, it is my first Smash game ever! I am enjoying it but I am not sure if I really know what the heck is going on. The Spirit Adventure mode is cool and I like the normal Smash mode as well. Unlocking characters (most of which I will never use) is fun and there is a TON of content. Good game that I feel I will enjoy even more once I get the hang of it. Is anybody using a Pro Controller? The Joycon is ok but feels a bit loose. What is the preferred controller for this game? Great review as always.

People who take Smash “seriously” tend to use the GameCube controller, but that’s mostly due to them cutting their teeth on Melee. I’m sure the Pro is an upgrade over the Joycons.

We have Brawl, and play with the Wiimotes, which is surprisingly playable after doing some button customization.
