I was about to say. The speedrunning controversy over this game is probably more interesting than the game itself.


Here’s someone fairly recently tying the world record at 5.57. Again, insane that people still even mess with this game.

shouldn't count..it was done on a 7800 with a Genesis controller! lol

The controversy around Dragster attracted me to the game, & I found it quite fun. It's exactly what a 2600 game needs to be: quick, simple, & hard to master.

And that is why I love to go back to so many games from the 2600 (and other classic systems) - just fun to play. :-)
