For some reason there frequently seems to be a delay in your new reviews showing up on the mobile site main page on the day of.

Typo on Touchdown Fever. Release date was 1988, not 1998.

I wish I could argue with these reviews.

I've never wanted to a love a game more, that bored me more than Gargoyle's Quest II. If you're giving everyone the chance to play a Ghouls N' Ghosts villain known for being difficult to hit, and he has all of these fun powers that would allow him to explore the map, then why would you limit everyone to using those powers in the strictest, most demanding ways possible? And then surgically remove the sense of humor from the series?

Not that I mind the beautiful all-goth aesthetic, but I didn't sign up for lawful good.

Once you solve the basic puzzle of how the game expects you to reach out of the way places, it's just a repetitive slog. It feels like it was designed by the same joyless drone who sucked all the fun out of the worst Megaman X games.

Touchdown Fever! I love seeing these obscure sports games get reviewed, especially by someone sympathetic to the genre -- i.e. who doesn't automatically hate sports games.

(Say, why no NES tennis reviews? I think the only one you've covered is in Quattro Sports, which may be the worst tennis game on the console.)

Credit to you for being able to play Touchdown Fever at all. I haven’t touched another football game on NES since playing Tecmo Super Bowl in 1992, which I still play regularly.

As for Gargoyle’s Quest II, I owned that game several years ago. I ended selling it because it’s pretty valuable, but I actually really enjoyed it before then. It was hard for me to part with. I can’t really remember the exact details of why I liked it (it’s been too long), but my recollections of my feelings on it would place it in at least the B range. Either way, two good reviews.

Not sure I’ve heard of Touchdown Fever. It’s an SNK game I just realized. Now it makes sense. I think the Neo Geo version was called Football Frenzy. The game was really exciting but it was hard to see the receivers downfield. It kind of ruined the game. They didn’t make a sequel which would’ve been interesting as perhaps they could’ve fixed the problems. I just read that I guess football frenzy was made in 1990. It would’ve been awesome to see a sequel bc the game had a lot of excitement

Gargoyle's Quest II is another example of why I can't take your reviews seriously.

Then again look at the controversial Switch port review of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night getting a rather high B+ grade despite most people giving it a C range/high D+ score do to the ports problems go figure.
