If Xevious (and Tempest, same story) had been released in 1984 for the 5200 , wow. But it wasn't. I used to save quarters from lunch money to spend on the game.
Enjoyed seeing the review. I know I played this version years ago, but I don't recall how I felt about it or how close to completion it was.

Always great to see new Atari 5200 reviews -- only a few games left in the library!
I think I tried to figure Zenji out a long time ago, and either had no luck or didn't enjoy it once I did understand the game. It looked so intriguing in Electronic Games, but...

It was not intentional, but considering Garbage is one of my all-time favorite bands...
