2020/8/10: Nintendo 3DS: Steel Diver, Wipeout 2

Check out my latest 3DS reviews. Steel Diver deserved another look (C- to B-), but Wipeout 2 is just terrible.

Steel Diver was a good time killer for me back in college. Never blown away by it but remember being fascinated by the game's atmosphere and the game was more ambitious than I thought when I first bought it. Overall a quality exclusive for the 3DS. Great review!

that's too bad about wipeout; I've always had high hopes for a game based on that show. you mentioned American Ninja Warrior, which actually does have a game on Switch. Honestly, it just looks like a bunch of quick time events with no real gameplay.

You said you had to review wipeout because it came bundled with another game - do you review every game you own?

I'm surprised they didn't have to change the name of the game to avoid confusion with the racing series.

If Wipeout 2 for 3DS gets an F, I'm pretty positive you would give the Wii version of Wipeout an F-. You can only imagine how frustrating the unresponsive controls are using a wii remote on this game

Thought I'd commented this before. But Wipeout 2's screenshot is definitely from the DS version.

I had Wipeout 2 on my 3DS in it's early days where it only had one or two games really worth playing. I thought it was.......okay. I have definitely played worse.
