While reviewing Jackie Chan for the NES, I re-reviewed this T16 version, downgrading from A to B+. Thoughts?

This game reminds me of a strange martial arts story I read in the Post today!

“A judo instructor in Japan violently punished two middle school students using martial arts techniques after they ate popsicle sticks without his permission — leaving one of the students with a spinal fracture, according to a report.

Takahiro Ueno, 50, who is the judo club advisor at Takarazuka Municipal Nagao Junior High School, was arrested Monday in connection to the alleged attack that left one of the students with a serious back injury, Japanese outlet The Mainichi reported.

He subjected the boys, aged 12 and 13, to a 30-minute assault — hitting them, throwing them to the ground and pinning them to the floor, the outlet reported.

One of the boys was allegedly placed in a chokehold that made him lose consciousness, prompting the instructor to slap him awake before pulling the same move again.

Ueno, who is also a teacher at the school, allegedly lost his temper when he learned the students ate the popsicles during their practice on Sept. 25.

The 13-year-old student was left with a bruised neck, while the younger student suffered more serious injuries, including a spinal fracture that’s expected to take three months to heal, the outlet reported.

One of the students’ parents contacted the school which then notified authorities about the alleged assault.

Ueno has been previously disciplined for at least three other incidents, including breaking a student’s nose as punishment, according to the report. He received a salary cut and was forced to undergo anger management training.”

Doesn’t look like the training took!
This could make a good game with Ueno as a boss.

Seems to me that if you take a karate class you need to expect some degree of physical punishment. I mean, didn't we all see Cobra Kai?

I do not however condone the punching of frogs like in Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu. That's where I draw the line.
