VERY impressed! A little skeptical at first but it won't me over with its fast pacing and cool explosions.
Don't sleep on this one.

Too bad I never had a PS2.... Oh well would have been worth it to check it out.
Did you know From Russia with Love was Sean Connery's favorite Bond film?

Weird question - when you find a game like this that you like, do you keep playing it after you review it to try to finish the game? I'm only asking because when I find a fun, challenging adventure, I rarely play any another game until I've either completed it (or quit on it after considerable time spent on it). This game looks great but time consuming to complete. Is it hard for you to put it away to review other games? This one looks like a tough game to put down. Great review!

I'm not the kind of guy who feels obligated to finish every game 100%. It's always nice to leave some unfinished business so I can return to it later and still experience something new. In this case I got to the end on easy but wouldn't mind returning to it at some point and finishing it on normal or hard.

Love to see this review, and love to see the grade. I had a lot of fun with this title. I think it represents the feel of the movie exceptionally well, too. I was impressed that Connery did the voice acting for the game - I thought maybe they would just sample from the film, but it's new dialogue. Overall an awesome example of how a James Bond game can be done well.

This is one of the things I love about this site - it covers every era of games. Modern sites are focused on the latest online stuff, and the retro sites seem to be in love with the 16-bit era. But this is an excellent title from a generation not on most people's radar at this time.

Nice review.
Not sure how i missed this one. The 2K era EA Bond games were great. Was playing some Nightfire with a friend this weekend and it blew me away how sophisticated these games were considering they are almost 20 years old now. Agent Under Fire and Everything or Nothing are also a ton of fun.
Picking up From Russia With Love on Gamecube probably since i spotted a copy at the local Play N' Trade the other day.

You're right - these PS2-era Bond games are really high in quality. It occurred to me that this was just before the era when the internet arrived on consoles, allowing publishers to put out garbage and fix it later as they do today.

Even EA's first James Bond effort The World is Not Enough (N64/PS1) was pretty solid.
