You probably thought my next Bond game was going to be a PS2 title, didn't you?
Feel free to post your thoughts on these two new Atari XE(GS) reviews.

Superb review of two XEGS games that I did not play on the Atari computer. Matterhorn looks great. It is a shame I did not play it back in the day.

When I saw it was James Bond 007 for XEGS, I thought for sure it would get an F from VGC. Or F-. But graciously it has been given a D!

Now personally, I found some fun with the 5200 version of the game but only because of an AA forums HSC where I was forced to play it and figure it out. But first impressions are terrible with this crappy game to the point it is (as I think the review said) embarassing!

We are looking at these games 40 years later. I think Parker Bros did some amazing things with so little memory. What is the size of this cart? 16k? So the game itself is actually okay. I was thinking of the living daylights game on Xegs. Great game but it was too hard.

Just a suggestion, but I think you should edit the line about birds in the Matterhorn review so you don't say "deadly" twice in the same sentence.

Good catch DaHeck - that was clearly not how I had intended.

I haven't played any of these really old Bond games, and it doesn't sound like I need to! I don't have an Amiga, Atari ST, ZX or Commodore 64, so I'll have no way to play them (ignoring emulation) anyway.

But being the huge Bond fan that I am, I'll probably try to collect them just for the conversation pieces they will be.
