You forgot to mention the new Politcial Correctness algorithm they implemented! I'm not a fan of football games, but even I have to admire a system that can randomly generate complaints based on things you actually do in the game that can turn the crowd, refs, and even the commentators against you. I watched one guy playing on YouTube, and when he chose not to have his quarterback kneel for the national anthem then field was stormed by an army of college protestors with brightly dyed hair (and yes, you can tackle them, but you'll risk taking a huge hit to your social stat). That said, giving you a 100 question quiz before every game to figure out your political opinions is kind of overdoing it a bit.

That was great and had me fooled for a minute. The thing is that EA is so absurd with their games, the mask thing wouldn’t have surprised me at all.

Nice review, been looking forward to your take on this game! Somehow I hoped the College game would be a good alternative to Madden, but I guess not.

But I really appreciate that EA implemented socially-distanced linemen like you see in that screenshot. Yes it makes blitzing and sacking the quarterback way too easy, probably crippling the guy for life, but we need to worry about safety first.

How much longer till NCAA Football is back in season?

Critic, do you know when this is being released. I have a sad story to impart. A good friend of mine is a gulf war veteran he just loves Football games. He is kind of unlucky as he had Gulf war syndrome. Last May he got Covid but recovered, thankfully. Then he found out he had long covid and can only really play games for about an hour at a time. I mean this is one unlucky chap. Anyway, I told him of this new football game and he is really excited. He said it is the first bit of luck he has had for about a year. He is now desperate to play the game as he thinks it will really help him in his therapy. He loves the idea of a new NCAA football game.

He said he looked online but could not see a release date for the game. I said that I would check with you, as you probably got a pre release copy.
So when it this game out?
