I'm interested in this game, so I ordered this cartrigde like 4 weeks ago. Still haven't received it. So I don't trust the publisher (PixelHeart) until I have received this game...

Not that this is necessary applicable but why did it take Nintendo to have their backs against the wall to finally start making 2d games again. From 1991 to 2006 they made no proper 2d Super Mario game. And 2006 is right when they were coming off of getting absolutely creamed by Sony.
I’ll never understand what this obsession with3d games was starting in 1995 especially since they all looked like junk in the 5th gen. I remember around 1997 being like is this it? I have to play either the PS1’s cardboard graphics or the N64’s blur fest. I remember shortly after that time being like what in the world happened to 2d.
Games like this should’ve been being made around the 5th gen. I remember Sony had a rule of no 2d games. And this is right when 2d technology was going through the roof. It essentially made me an ex video game fan.
I was planning on playing the original Andro Dunos a lot more but my obsession with Viewpoint has basically taken over my life. I will put a lot of time into it though.

Can this game be purchased still?
Would love to pick up a copy. Have the original for Neo Geo MVS and would be all about checking out the sequel.

Some guy in Japan is selling one on ebay for a mere 37969.20 yen. 300 bucks... lol. It does not look cheap.. 50 bux is the cheapest... and it is on Switch as well.

The good news is this game has been released for a variety of systems, so shouldn't be super rare.

As said, I ordered it there, like 5-7 weeks ago but still haven't received the game and they don't respond to my questions. Not a good feeling. But if I finally will receive the game, I'll post an update.

Re: 2022/5/24: Nintendo 3DS: Andro Dunos II
As promised and to be fair to the publisher: I received the game. There were some problems with the payment. So you can safely order the game, there are definitely not scammers!
Then to the game. I got the PAL (EU) version. I like how it comes with a small manual and a small paper certificate stating it's an exclusive game - one of 6.000 copies printed. Also the game is enjoyable, though lacking in any originality. I also feel the VGC hasn't addressed any of the technical flaws of the 3DS version. I'm not a tech wizard, those flaws are much better describe by Retrobreak (https://retrobreak.co.uk/2022/04/15/andro-dunos-2-3ds-version-review/). However, even I notice the remarkable long loading time before the game actual starts, I never had that before in a 3DS game (I even thought the game was broken). As described by Retrobreak, also the resolution is a bit botchered and just cropped to fit the 3DS screen. Also, the still picture on the bottom screen looks awful. Like a low resolution gif they found somewhere on the internet.
Technical issues aside, I still enjoyed the game - I think it probably will TRULY be the last (official) physical PAL 3DS game released, so I had to add it to my collection . However, there will be another new physical 3DS release game by Limited Run for American regions (Go! Go! Kokopolo).
