Let me know what you think about my latest set of Fairchild Channel F reviews.

With Hangman and Slot Machine, I feel like I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel. Fun reviews though.

Someone on Facebook asked me when I was going to review the Centipede homebrew. How do I play that on original hardware?

I’ve never trusted fruit machines.

Awesome! Oh, man, these reviews put a smile on my face at a time when I needed it. Funny, honest, self-deprecating, slightly surreal.

Please continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel -- it's what I'm here for! After all it's your site's mission ("Reviewing every console game because why not"), right? And it often leads to great reviews!

For those of us who contribute via Patreon, consider it your compensation for putting up with games like these, re-learning the rules of backgammon to review those games, or whatever other tortures you have to go through. Keep scrapin' that barrel!!

(P.S. Speaking of which, does anyone have this experience with backgammon -- it seems like the one game where I can never remember the rules, and every stinkin' time I try to play, it feels like I'm starting from square one? Anyone else?)

Two interesting reviews for this system. It seems that it was a mixed bag. A step up from the previous console but very much of an also ran. The reviews are great but back in the day both games would have been cutting edge. It is just, that now they could not even make it as a free mobile game.

Regarding the "realism" of Hangman, I still have to give the edge to the C64 version where you watch the man fall, struggle, and then stop moving when you lose the game. I mean it's just a stick figure but still...

Only way to play a homebrew on original hardware is a multicart with an SD card reader.

I don't know. I haven't found one yet.

Someone in the AtariAge forum is working on one however...not ready yet.

Your review of Hangman made me want to play it, actually. It sounds kind of bad-ass.
