This is the cutest game you've ever hated. Feel free to leave comments.

Don't diss Pikachu, man! I love that cute little guy! If Pikachu saw your review, he'd go all thunder shock on your ass!

I hated it to, you did absolutely NOTHING in that game!

Aw, Pikachu is cute.
Never played this thing, though (wasn't released in Europe), but I've heard enough horror stories about how impossible it is to control that I certainly believe the F to be justified.

Pikachu is indeed the man, but this game is most certainly not. I rented it a couple of years ago and it's not that it's impossible to control, it's just that you never really feel as if you're having an impact on what's going on on-screen which, when you consider that this is a voice recognition game, is not good (especially for an $80 game, a steep price considering that Seaman on the Dreamcast was $50, and it came with a microphone, too).
I think that Hey You Pikachu, much like Konami's Lifeline (PS2), was a cool concept that just didn't work, and in the case of this game, there really wasn't much of a game there and it seemed a bit overbearing, even for its young target audience.
In terms of the review, I don't exactly get the watermelon seed crack. Is it supposed to be just a watermelon (and thus indicating that our Critic friend is not of a fan of that particular fruit)? Also, this is the the most worthless game in your entire collection? As far as your N64 collection, maybe (although to be fair, Hey You Pikachu is a far better game than Superman), but of everything you have? What else would go alongside this one in that respect?

The last game I thought you would review is this one. I figured this game was garbage but wasn't sure. Nintendo Power gave it a 7.0 Nintendo Power staff were such cowards in those days, they never gave a review score under 5.5 and most were mid 6 and higher for poor games.

there aren't many things better than reading a review of a game that VGC hates. and i really liked the analogy of the watermelon seed...good stuff. this was a solid review and made me laugh out loud.

Pokemon Channel is the same game, but with more to do, an actual story, and no voice recognition. It is one of the Gamecube's most underrated gems.

Actually, after reading Critic's review of Hey You Pikachu, I went back and read the old Nintendo Power review of the game, and they actually gave some pretty big complaints about the game, some of which made the overall score of 7.0 seem a bit generous (although one reviewer himself said "it's more of a toy than a game").
