You can dominate easily with DK or Ness, and everyone else absolutely stinks.

No you can't. DK moves like he has arthritis, and its relatively easy to trick someone playing Ness into blasting themselves off of the screen.

As much as I completely disagree with his Super Smash Bros. review, it is his opinion, and I respect that. I'd give the game an A. The single player mode is fun but not as much fun as the multiplayer mode. I'm also a Sega fan and I love the Super Smash Bros. series.
I think what the critic meant from "growing up on the Sega side" was not that he wasn't a Nintnedo fan, but because he didn't want to sound bias doing this review. He didn't start becoming extremely intrested in Nintendo until he became a critic, or that's what I think (He was a Zelda fan before) The grade was originally a C-, so it's starting to grow on him. I think he had a Snes back in the day (and loved it) and he's a long time fan of the original Donkey Kong, so I don't why he isn't saying he grew on the Nintendo side as well.
Oh well, As long as I love the game (and I do), that's all that matters.

Smash 64 is a great game, but it's definitely inferior to Melee.
