Another factor to consider is that, using the Evercade VS's dual cart slots, if you put in certain matches of carts extra games are unlocked (the one that has been used to market this feature is both Atari Vol 1 and 2 carts unlocks a 7800 game that is not present on either cart on their own).

Not a major deal breaking feature, but one worth noting.

From Evercade.info:

Type in on code screen
SEIJIWASHERE: Kubo 1 & 2 (simple indie games, possibly by one person)

Cartridge Combinations
Atari Collection 1 + Atari Collection 2 = Dark Chambers (Atari 7800) [Thanks to Dan Nastic]
Atari Lynx Collection 1 + Atari Lynx Collection 2 = Raid on Tricity: Second Wave (Lynx) [Thanks to Dan Nastic]
Piko Interactive Collection 1 + Piko Interactive Collection 2 = Pyramids of Ra (Game Boy) [Thanks to Dan Nastic]
Gaelco Arcade 1 + Indie Heroes Collection 1 = Arkade Rush (NES) [Thanks to Dan Nastic] (short overcooked-style game with an arcade theme)
Inserting two of the exact same cart gives a silly little message

Button Combinations
On the main screen: L2+R2+Select = Gotris (Sega Master System) [Thanks to Dan Nastic] (mix of Go and Tetris)
On the main screen: L1+R1+Up = NNNNNN (NES) [Thanks to Crazy Burger] (indie game)
On the main screen: L1+R1+Down = Spacey McRacey (NES) [Thanks to Crazy Burger] (indie game)

Some of the "hidden" games are ones that I hadn't heard of, so I Googled each one and have images below for reference for those that may not be familiar with these games:

Heads-up, the US Evercade VS release date has been revised, approx. end of February 2022:

https://evercade.co.uk/evercade-vs-update-us-shipping-information/

I can sympathize with their reasoning and freight issues; I work in an industry where on normal circumstances we would hope once a vessel hits port that the shipment would be Grounded, Booked and Delivered to Destination within a week or so, at optimum. To have a shipment held up for over a month is now the norm, be it ships clogged at the port, lack of trucks, or other circumstances...
